Experience the thrill of movement in bite-sized excerpts against the night lights of the city, performed by T.H.E Second Company.

《起风了》Rising Winds, by renowned local choreographer Albert Tiong, first premiered in 2017 at the Festival’s Asian Festivals Exchange, a platform that spotlighted works and collaborations from the region. Created by Tiong for T.H.E Second Company, the piece returns with a new cast to re-explore the dynamics of interpersonal relations amidst an unyielding environment.

Kawayan, by full-time dance artist with T.H.E Dance Company Klievert Jon Mendoza, offers a spellbinding look at the correlation between Man and nature, the dancers’ tireless movements evocative of a calm, resilient forest of bamboo. Amidst the bustle of the city, the dancers conjure a rhythmic tranquillity with an original score by Kent Lee.

The evening’s programme will be guided by an emcee who will provide nuggets of insight and understanding along the way. Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) and live audio description are also available at the event.
